Discover our ITC’s history : founded by Alain Rakotonanahary, an engineering graduate of ISAE-Supaero (class of 1996), Softia Ingénierie named Softia draws on its founder’s ability to anticipate change and his responsiveness, both of which are hallmarks of a career rich in significant experience.
After starting out as a development engineer, Alain went on to become an expert consultant, then a pre-sales engineer and finally a project manager with a services company. This career path enabled him to master the technical, managerial and commercial challenges of complex information systems projects, particularly in industrial environments.
The Softia project was born of its ambition to offer innovative and reliable solutions to the critical challenges facing businesses. Created in response to the strategic needs of organisations linked to the changeover to the euro and the year 2000, Softia immediately demonstrated its ability to intervene in critical projects, particularly in the fields of accounting and financial services.
Softia’s growth, measured but resolutely focused on excellence, has enabled the company to gradually establish itself as a key player. Its work, particularly in the pharmaceutical and industrial systems sectors, has strengthened its reputation thanks to a rigorous approach to quality control and an ability to adapt to a variety of environments.
Softia’s DNA is based on strong human values. The company’s first employees and trainees, pioneers in its history, are still loyal to the adventure and continue to share their expertise in the service of our customers’ ambitious projects.
